A 240mm LED downlight is the largest standard size within our LED downlighters and is mainly used in spaces with high light requirements, such as large halls, warehouses and business premises with high ceilings. Due to the large diameter, fewer fixtures can uniformly illuminate a large area.

What to look for with this size?

• Check whether 240mm refers to the saw size (recessed) or outer size (surface-mounted).
• When replacing, measure the existing hole to avoid fitting issues.
• For larger projects, determine the required number of fixtures based on the desired light output per square meter.
